When she talks about her film, Rina B. Tsou often refers to waves; waves of the spirit, of the sea, of reality and of ghosts. She also talks about the inherent magic in all meetings, be that in a highly trivial background. And Arnie perfectly fits in the opposites attract pattern, in a close to documentary key, although a more secret, fantasy, even mystical dimension is at work. A pure object of cinema touching the essence of it as an art: to rediscover the world and its truthfulness in a new perspective.
